CompoundingHabits ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.

This app is operated by Ngoc Doan and is available on iOS, Android, and Web.

2. Information We Collect

2a. Information you provide

• Habits: The names, frequencies, and settings of habits you create in the app.
• Habit entries: Your daily check-in records (completed / skipped) and their timestamps.

2b. Information collected automatically

• Anonymous session identifier: A randomly generated ID stored locally on your device to associate your data with your app session. No account sign-up is required.

2c. Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, photos, contacts, or payment information. We do not use advertising networks, crash reporters, or behavioral analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Habit and entry data is stored in Supabase to calculate your compounding momentum score and display your progress history.
• Local device storage (AsyncStorage) is used to cache app state and preferences for faster load times.

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or machine-learning purposes.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your habit data is stored on Supabase's cloud infrastructure (hosted on AWS). When you use the AI habit goal suggestions feature, your habit name and motivation text are sent to Groq's API servers for processing; this data is not stored by us after the request completes. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. We do not access your device's files, camera, contacts, or location.

Local preferences are stored using AsyncStorage on your device and are never transmitted to any server.

6. Data Retention

Your data is retained in Supabase for as long as you use the app. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us at the email below. Local device data is removed when you uninstall the app or use the "Log out & delete data" option in Settings.

7. Children's Privacy

CompoundingHabits is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided data through this app, please contact us immediately so we can delete it.
